Mindful Walking and
QiGong

This seminar
series is unique in that it combines Ch’an Buddhist
walking meditation with the experience of Taoist
awareness. It burns calories much faster than
conventional walking, while teaching your mind to be
serine and calm. We utilize Pennsylvania’s scenic
rivers, waterfalls and streams as a backdrop for
contemplation and mindful movement therapy (weather
permitting). This is perfect if you can’t walk
quickly, but still enjoy the outdoors and want to
learn to maximize your walking experience. It also
teaches how to not mull over your problems in your
mind over and over – but to develop new thought
patterns leading to a peaceful rejuvenating
experience.
